Taylor NS34-ce Acoustic/Electric Guitar (Gloss Top)

Description: This used Nov. 2010 Taylor NS34ce acoustic is a Grand Auditorium size, nylon-stringed guitar with a Venetian cutaway and simple, yet elegant Mexican Cypress rosette. The finish is a mix of Satin (Body) and Gloss (Top). This makes for a great-sounding, great-playing guitar, perfect for steel string players seeking the tonal variation a classical guitar offers, coupled with Taylor's extremely playable neck. Made with a Sitka Spruce top and Sapele back and sides, it has plenty of warmth and depth. When its natural volume isn't enough for you, the built-in Taylor ES-N Piezo system can be used so you can plug in for larger venues or for recording with the benefit of unprecedented range and feedback resistance. With increased volume, sustain, and bass, the Taylor NS34ce acoustic is an excellent option for guitarists seeking nylon/classic tones in a very comfortable, playable instrument.The guitar has a 1-7/8" width nut, 15" neck radius, and wonderful detailing, including a Mexican Cypress rosette. The installed (Taylor) ES-N piezo pickup system works well. I installed a small transparent/clear pickguard (to protect the top). In some sections, the pickguard was not seated uniformly and has bubbled slightly. This is shown in one of the images. It has no effect on the voice or playability of the guitar – and could be easily removed prior to sale at buyer's request (if necessary). Also shown is a tiny (almost imperceptible) ‘ding’ on the top (close to the shoulder). The guitar is in overall Excellent condition. The original Taylor hard shell case is included. The case is also in Excellent condition; it shows a slight bit of scuffing at the rear underside. A new set of strings (Medium or Hard Tension) buyer’s choice will also be included with the guitar – as will be the humidifier shown.
