Description: Here is a LANG TU-18C Universal Top Dead Center (TDC) whistle with spark plug threads. The whistle is attached to a hose with 14mm and 18mm spark plug threads. The overall length is 27-1/2". Screw it into a spark plug hole and slowly turn the engine over by hand. It starts whistling at the compression stroke and stops whistling at approximately top dead center. You will then need to inspect your timing marks to set the engine to the exact top dead center. NOTE: The engine must be turned by hand. Do NOT use the starter to turn over the engine. Do NOT leave in a running engine.
