Description: I have come into a bunch of Zuni fetish carvings that I know very little about. But I'm absolutely fascinated and it's something I'd like to learn a lot more about. I'd like to learn about the artists and the stones and minerals used for the carvings as well as the meanings. This is just precious. I wonder if the artist had a small chunk of turquoise and asked themselves if an animal lived in there? Started carving and yes indeed, there was a Badger. I'm just assuming Badger by the giant claws. He's a little guy but fierce. Not signed. About an inch long by about 1/2 inch tall.
