Description: I have come into a bunch of Zuni fetish carvings that I know very little about. But I'm absolutely fascinated and it's something I'd like to learn a lot more about. I'd like to learn about the artists and the stones and minerals used for the carvings as well as the meanings. Maybe Zuni carvings aren't meant to be "pretty" per se but this little bear sure is. The stone is striped and mottled and just a lot of really intense color and pattern packed into such a tiny piece. Classic bear with long snout. Not signed. About 1 1/4 inches long and 3/4 inch high.
