This is handcrafted and signed "TERE" in stitching by the artist. She has signed the back of the piece in pencil with the size of the tapestry. Wall hanging is a hooked rug wool tapestry. Circa: 1960s-1970s. This piece depicts colorful birds in the trees. Teresa was a Guajiro Indian. She had a workshop located in Laguna del Pajaro, Venezuela. She passed away in 2017. The Guajiros are from Northwest Venezuela and Northeast Columbia. This measures approximately 80" wide by 120" tall. It has been hung. It is in excellent condition. There are some marks to the wood.
