CONDITION is VERY GOOD+, in NEAR FINE dust jacket. Jacket not clipped and in near-fine condition, with some modest shelf wear, some signs of handling, and very minor rubbing / scuffing at some extremities. No significant damage in any other way; no tears, creasing, or chipping whatsoever. Book is in very good or better condition, unmarked, no writing or names within. Front free endpapers appear to be starting at binding, but remain firmly attached at pastedown and hinge of front board (see photos). Text block otherwise unaffected and shows no signs of being compromised (stitching flaw to ffep appears to be a manufacturing defect only). Boards and spine evince some aesthetic / superficial wear, some light staining, rubbing to gilt titles, etc. (see photos), but otherwise the volume is in very sound condition with no other flaws, defects or damage noted. Binding is otherwise quite sound and square; text block complete and undiminished, with crisp, clean leaves. On the whole, still a nice first /1st of this title, and a very suitable reading copy in a remarkably untarnished dust jacket.
