The ADVENTURES of FINSPOT/ZANE GREY, Betty Zane signed, rare jacket, not Nemo

Description: Unique collectible for the Zane Grey collector. THE ADVENTURES OF FINSPOT book by ZANE GREY, in scarce dust jacket. Limited & signed edition #390 of only 500, signed by Betty Zane Grosso and Loren Grey. There seems to be some unsigned copies around, so note the difference. A delightful book with the tipped in color plates as shown. This is NOT a compact disk, but the esteemed Berrybook's Yestermorrow Thunderbird printing of 1995, a newer reprint of the 1974 edition which first published this story which author Zane Grey (1872-1939) wrote specifically for his daughter, Betty Zane, long ago before Nemo. Betty Zane and Loren both passed on in 2007. Now, also includes a ZANE GREY signed check from the author to his daughter, Betty from 9/14/1938, with James Spence Authentication AB73865. Betty Zane Grey's last name was changed to Carney with her first marriage in 1930. Betty also endorsed the check on the verso. The following information comes from BYU Special Collections: Betty Zane Grey Grosso (1912-2007) was the only daughter of Zane and Lina Elise Grey. Elizabeth Zane Grey was born on April 22, 1912 in New York. She married photographer Robert W. (Bob) Carney in 1930. They accompanied Zane Grey on various expeditions, including to Idaho, Fiji, and Tahiti. They had two children together, Michele Zane and Carol Joan, before divorcing in 1939. She later married George D. Grosso on March 16, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. They too later divorced in April 1973. Betty Zane Grey Grosso died on January 6, 2007 in Sonoma California.
