Description: Ex-library. Five volumes. (NOTE: I found volume one after I originally listed this set as four volumes. I added two more photos of volume one but kept the original photos of volumes 2-5). These are original and not modern reprints or facsimiles. Spine has been repaired with spine tape covering the entire spine and partial boards. These volumes are from the late 1800’s and were found in a basement library of a Jesuit center that has closed, hence, these volumes have an “old” odor to them. Each volume has not been individually graded and may contain one or more of the following: Spine slant. Cocked spine. Shaken spine. Heavy tanning to edges, pages. Soiling to boards, edges, spine. Foxing to edges, pages. Call numbers on spine. Gutter separation. Rubber stamp/pen/pencil markings, typically on pastedowns, flyleaves, end pages, title page. Tears to pages. Folded corners. Bumps/chipping/scuffing to head, toe, corners, board edges. Pencil marks to interior pages. Page block sag. Shelf wear to bottom edge. Bow to boards, page block. I didn’t notice any defects or intrusive markings to the interior pages except for tanning and sporadic foxing and stains. Please see photos for more details. Volumes and copyrights are: Volume I: from January to October, 1876, copyright 1876 Volume II: from January to October 1877, copyright 1877 Volume III: from January to October 1878, copyright 1878 Volume IV: from January to October 1879, copyright 1879 (front board is separated from page block) Volume V: from January to October 1880, copyright 1880 (separation along front hinge and flyleaf
