The Archies: Jingle Jangle b/w Justine 1969 Kirschner 63-5002 Rockaway Press VG

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single by The Archies titled "Jingle Jangle b/w Justine", originally released in 1969 by Kirschner Records, distributed by RCA Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Poor/Worn because of an unglued side seam, small tears and wrinkles along the top opening, two tears along the center hole, and creased corners. In the dead wax, between the labels and end of the tracks, is machine stamped an upper case "R" and the matrix numbers 1-S/1-S, indicating that the first stampers were used to make this record at RCA Records' pressing plant, located in Rockaway, New Jersey. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Good because of occasional surface noise and ticking at the beginning of each side. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Rockaway pressing.
