A scarce copy. The Black Legion was a white supremacist terrorist organisation and hate group which was active in the Midwestern U.S. in the 1920s and the 1930s. It split off from the Ku Klux Klan and grew to prominence during the Great Depression. The Workers Library Publishers was the Workers Party of America New York-based publishing house for propaganda pamphlets. The Workers Party was the name of the legal organisation that supported Marxist-Lenin ideology and eventually became the Community Party USA. (from Biblio.com). Condition: Good condition. Staple-bound in paper covers. Some rub wear to the edges and rounding and wear at the corners. The rear cover and the edges show some soil and foxing. Two leaves have a crease mark, likely created in the printing process. The pages are clean and unmarked overall with a little streaking to inside of the last page. There are a few tiny foxing spots.
