In May 1919 it was reorganised as the Busch Quartet in Berlin, and in the autumn of 1920 gave its first Beethoven cycle in the composer's birthplace Bonn. The famous formation of Busch, his Swedish pupil Gösta Andreasson, Doktor and Grümmer was first heard in Amsterdam at the end of that year.
