This is a classic of two influential Chinese philosophers, Confucius and Mencius, in two parts, together in one volume. It includes Analects, Great Learning, Doctrine of the Mean, as well as complete indexes of subjects and proper names, plus an introduction of their life. Book is in Good condition with wear, shelf wear, bumped corners, dents, faded title on spine, age toned pages, a rare pencil mark in the margins, original owner's name on title page, and several penciled note on Part I title page. Binding feels tight, but I did not stress it as the book is old. Please see pictures as they are considered part of the condition description.
