The book is a biography of Jennifer Doudna, American biochemist involved in the pioneering work in CRISPR gene editing, and winner of the Nobel Prize in chemistry (among many other prestigious awards). I consider this book to be in very good overall pre-owned condition with the following noted flaws: The dust jacket shows very minor wear including light surface scuffing/scratches (one nearly indiscernible long scratch on the front of the jacket) and minimal edge wear. The inner front flap has been price-clipped. Mild dinginess and very light spotting along the text block edges. Minimal bumping of the spine head and head (blue boards). The dust jacket has been fitted with a new clear mylar protector which is not permanently affixed and can be easily removed if desired.
