Description: This is a 20" x 16" size promotional poster for The Cramps "Songs the Lord Taught Us." The perfect gift for the Gen-Xer in your life who already has everything! UPDATED TO ADD: In response to some questions I have received I am updating this listing to say that YES, the measurement is correct. It is my understanding that this poster was not distributed to record stores but was used at I.R.S promo parties. That said, the only claim to authenticity I have is my knowledge that the [now deceased] owner was affiliated with I.R.S. throughout the 80s and that this poster was in a folio of others of a like size labled "NYC Party Promos". This poster is on thicker card stock than normal super thin poster paper. I have also been asked if this is a screen print and the unfortunate answer is that I don't know. I am not a printing expert but I tried to determine an answer to this with super magnification. I don't see the grid work I would expect to see if this was a screen print, so I lean toward the answer being no. However, I'm not sure what to make of the edges where the colors meet. I am adding some 10x magified photos to the listing. I welcome any other suggestions to verify type/age, if you want to message me. **** This iconic poster has never been hung outside of a frame or matting so there are no staple or thumbtack holes in the poster itself. Some corners show slight crinkling but otherwise in mint condition and has been stored in a cellophane sleeve. Will ship flat and well packed. Please look closely at the photos as the best description of this item and ask for any additional photos or measurements you may want. I do my best to represent the product accurately but this is a preowned and/or vintage item and is being sold as is. I always consider offers!
