Victorian children's pastimes: indoor games, tricks and puzzles, outdoor games, occupations, collections, and the care of pets. In the original publisher's dark green cloth lettered gilt on upper cover and spine, beveled edges, large colored illustration to upper cover of a girl playing Blind Man's Buff, a gold chain and pendant round her neck, all edges gilt, 192 pages.
