The book itself briefly chronicles the American experience in Olympic Basketball before getting into the selection of the team and its preparation for the Games. The actual competition is something of an anti-climax. The book frames the experience with many great color and black & white photos of the team, on and off court, and documents the intriguing experience of seeing professional rivals like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson interact in a common cause. This book will certainly appeal to die-hard basketball fans who remember the original "Dream Team." Again, this book is in EXCELLENT condition.
