Description: History of England from Earliest Dawn of Authentic Record to Commencement of Hostilities in 1803 - George Courtney Lyttleton - 1826. A unique set of three volumes bound in one. Providing a classic and thorough history of England, loaded with plates and a fold out map (although largely ripped/missing, as pictured). Bound in 1/4 leather over boards. A large book, measuring 6" thick (apple for scale only). Heavy wear at spine. Both covers detached, and front cover not matching the rear (likely an accidental compilation from a previous owner). Internally, various pages with edge chipping, foxing, browning, and light dampstaining. Bottom right corner with remnants of rodent damage toward rear of book. One spot of insect damage. Portion of index missing for volume 3 at rear. Poor condition, although some potential for rebinding, etc. The book is exactly as shown. Any questions, please ask.
