The fabric of the spine of the book is NOT ATTACHED, in fact half of the spine fabric is completely gone. The first four pages of the book (the fly leaf to the title page are not intact). The inside front cover has the previous owners' names , the date 1875 and Fairfax, Va written in black ink. The dedication page has a name written in pencil.
