You're looking at a SUPERB condition book which is RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and a classic 1956 novel which was the basis for the 1959 film "The Last Angry Man" starring PAUL MUNI and DAVID WAYNE and directed by DANIEL MANN--the book is a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET. This book is in SUPERB condition and the book itself has a slight green scuff (NOT a remainder mark) on the upper right page edge, a slight ding on the upper right tip of the front cover and slight dings on the spine tips and just slight evidence of gentle browsing but NO other significant flaws; the dustjacket has a few tiny tears on the spine and opening tips, a VERY slight partial vertical crease on the spine end, a tiny crease on the lower right corner of the front inner flap and a slight crease on the upper right tip of the front inner flap, a couple of tiny tears on the right edge of the back surface and just very light shelfwear otherwise but NO other significant flaws! The ORIGINAL BOOK OF THE MONTH CLUB PAMPHLET is also included and in FLAWLESS shape! The book is titled The Last Angry Man: A Novel and it was written by GERALD GREEN; it was published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1956 and is a book club edition.Samuel Adelman, M.D., 1553 Haven Place--they all knew him in that grimy Brooklyn district, the teenage hoodlums, the cops, the kosher butchers, the hymn-chanting member of the Wholy United Army of God.
