Description: The Original “All In” Statement - Clemson University Western Union Telegram 1924. From the estate of the late Leslie Gladstone McCraw, Jr. (1934-2011) former CEO of Daniel Construction Company and a devoted Clemson alumni. He was the son of the telegram’s recipient and the grandson of the sender. The sender, James Virgil Lambert McCraw (1870-1947), was a South Carolina State Representative and Hardware Store owner. The recipient, at the time a Sophomore at Clemson, was Leslie Gladstone McCraw (1901-1989). The message from father to son simply states, “BE THE LAST ONE TO LEAVE IF NECESSARY GO DOWN WITH THE COLLEGE.” This one-of-a-kind piece of historical Clemson memorabilia is a must have for the most devoted Clemson fan. It comes folded in a clear plastic sleeve but would look great mounted in a matted frame.
