The album cover has typical age wear and also a previous owner wrote their name on bottom right front cover “Taylor”. The vinyl is in great audio shape with only a specific rubbing mark to the surface of the vinyl which does not affect the sound (see last photo). There is only the occasional surface static most evident during the quietest parts and in between songs which may improve after cleaning. After my most recent listen I would highly recommend this to fans of the band Renaissance if only they were more acoustic guitar driven but mostly because of the female vocals. (At times the fantastic sparingly used vocals of Jacqui McShee sounds like everyone from Annie Haslam, Joan Baez, Mary Hopkins, and to others I just can’t think of their names) The highlight has to be the acoustic guitar interplay between Jansch and Renbourn accompanied by double bass and soft drums. I also really noticed the subtle psychedelic panning of drums and percussion on one song and bass on another. Embrace the blend of folk rock and 1960s style and even jazz with this iconic release. This item will be shipped in a heavy duty cardboard mailer with the record inside a new poly line inner sleeve, along with the original inner sleeve and cover protected by a polyethylene outer sleeve.
