Tolkien - Second Edition 1965 The cover is actually very pretty.I could not capture the almost glow of the emblem on the front which is hot pink and gold when held under the light. It looks so pretty in person!This book was once a library book and shows all the wear of being such.There are library stamps on each text block.There is a library embossed stamp on the title page.And there is the spot on the back of the last page which obviously had the book check out sleeve torn out (sad).There is some writing in pencil on the copywrite page.There are a few pages with some age spots.The cover has some crud and the spine shows some wear as well.The inside front cover has a tear.There is a really neat fold out attached map in the back (minor tear).
