This listing is for the uncorrected page proofs of the first editions of The Tides of Kithrup (published as Startide Rising) and The Uplift War by David Brin. Published by Bantam Books in September 1983 and July 1987. First printings indicated on copyright pages. The second and third volumes of The Uplift Saga, preceded by Sundiver. Both proofs signed by Brin on the title pages. On Tides, Brin marked through Kithrup and wrote Ketchup! beneath it. Startide Rising won the 1984 Hugo and Nebula Awards for best novel, The Uplift War won the 1988 Hugo Award for best novel. Books are in fine, unread condition. Tides has a tiny almost imperceptible crease to the bottom corner of the front cover. A beautiful, like new set. Shipping is $6.00 for Media Mail or $10.00 for Priority Mail.
