Has a Table of Contents. Also contains: The Ethics of Dust. Ten Lectures to Little Housewives on the Elements of Crystallisation; Notes. -Pre-Raphaelitism. 1869. Book also contains: Notes on the Construction of Sheepfolds; The King of the Golden River or the Black Brothers, a Legend of Stiria; The Political Economy of Art: Being the Substance (with Additions) of Two Lectures, Delivered at Manchester, July 10th and 13th, 1857; Addenda; An Inquiry into Some of the Conditions at Present Affecting “The Study of Architecture” in Our Schools. Volume III has a Frontispiece with tissue, and illustrations. Volumes I & III have a Table of Contents. Each book has gilt lettering and design on spine, and each measures about 5 ¼” x 8.” All hardcovers have wear/tear/bumping, mainly around spines, edges, and corners, along with light staining. Has uncut pages in some of the volumes. All pages have corner creases, some tears, light tanning from age, soil spots, some separation between pages.Note that I’ve described the books as best as I can.
