The World's Work was founded by Sir Henry Norman, M.P. a journalist and Liberal Member of Parliament. Norman a Liberal Unionist turned eager Imperialist, edited this Illustrated Shilling Monthly magazine of National Efficiency and Social Progress. Also a keen motorist and champion for motorists rights in Parliament, Henry Norman used his magazine to further this cause. This publication gives an insight in to a bygone era of a modernising world through early technologies and changing Britain after the death Queen Victoria. Each issue is packet with fascinating articles along with photographs and illustrations. We only list magazines that are in good condition with pages that are clearly legible. We recognise that there is interest in older magazines that are 30 years or more, these may have corrosion to the staples that may bleed into the paper slightly and the spine may have signs of wear or minor damage and or dust or storage marks. In the unlikely event your item does not meet your expectations, please message us and we will refund your full purchase price. Our Prices We set highly competitive prices for all our products, with regular checks against our online eBay competitors. If in the unlikely event our item can be found on eBay in a similar condition for less, we will be happy to consider an offer.
