Theater Pants French work wear late 1800's ~ FABULOUS folk wear

Description: Welcome to The Textile Trunk ~ please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ~ A very very rare and special find! ~*~ Im not sure if these pants were for theater or if perhaps they were a regional traditional dress pant? ~ whatever the case , they are SURE to be someones favorite find! They are absolutely wonderful ~ These pants date from the middle or late 1800s and are lined in natural cotton. These pants are all hand stitched ! ~~ a true treasure. The blue fabric is a very soft wool soft and velvety ! ~ The trim on the side is white and blue > The legs button closed ~ I love the very old style writing on the waist band ~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ( pants T44) MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately: 29 inches long 17 inch inseam 26-28 inch waist Hips are far more generous!! leg opening at the bottom is about 12 inches around ( where it buttons closed) CONDITION : These wonderful pants are in as found condition. ~*These pants have some small holes dotted all around! there are hand mends, small holes ! These pants are not suitable for someone looking for perfect condition, yet perfect for anyone loving the signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful antiques 3/13/19
