Description: This is a nice TRIO of bullets recovered at the Antietam, MD Battlefield. One from the USA; one from the CSA and a bullet used by BOTH sides. Look at these bullets carefully. None are PRISTINE. The bullet used by both sides has been "pulled". That means it was in the gun; then removed with a screw like puller to be used again. There is a picture in the description. Antietam (or Sharpsburg) was the deadliest ONE DAY BATTLE of the Civil War. It was fought on Sept. 17, 1862. There was a combined total of 22,727 Casualties counting the Dead, Wounded and Missing. Picture #3 is of the Dunker Church with dead nearby. The last picture shows the Dead in the "Bloody Lane."
