Description: Up for bid are three Royal Doulton cream soup bowls and four underplates in the SATSUMA (E5692) pattern. The bowls are just under 5 inches in diameter without the handles, and the underplates are 6 5/16 inches in diameter. The pieces are decorated with transfer prints, as shown, with hand decorated iron red rims and edging. Some pieces are older than the others, with darker coloration and slightly different shades. There is some variation in the backstamps as well. So, they do not match exactly, but they are the same pattern. Condition on the pieces is fairly good. There is some crazing of the glazes. There are no chips or cracks, and only very minor wear to the decoration. Some decent pieces, priced to sell.
