Description: OFFERED FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Three vintage Gene Autry programs that were available in the 1950s at his personal appearances. Gene regularly made the rounds to state fairs, rodeos and other civic events around the country. On the bill with Gene at these appearances were other western stars like Gail Davis as well as two of his comic sidekicks through the years -- Smiley Burnette and Pat Buttram. Gail Davis, who appeared in 15 episodes of The Gene Autry Show between 1950 and 1954, soon left to star in her own TV western series, Annie Oakley. These programs are as close to perfect condition as you could want -- as nice as the day they were originally sold! I took pics of the front and back covers of each as well as the front inside spreads and a closeup of a Gene merchandise ad. I’ve also posted an ad for Gene merchandise I found inside one of the programs. There are other ads for his merchandise scattered throughout the programs plus bios of his guest stars. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see, just ask and I’d be happy to oblige with some pics. If you saw Gene Autry in person back in the day, these are wonderful mementos to have. If you’re a Gene fan, but never had the opportunity to see him or were too young, these programs give you a good idea of the entertainment you would have seen. Please take a close look at the photos. Between the photos and my written description, you should have a pretty complete picture of the condition of these programs.
