Description: Hello! I have here a Used and Refurbished Thule Roundtrip Transition bicycle hard clamshell travel case with assembly stand. Minor damage to the case has been repaired using 3/4" aluminum angle stock to prevent flex. There were three cracks in the lip of the lower half of the shell. One at either end where the left and right sides join with an overlap and one in the center of the side.Two cracks were glued together and the third at the rear of the case was plastic welded and sanded down. Each crack has been reinforced with the angle stock and pop rivets. Lower half is as solid as new. Possibly stronger now. One buckle strap was broken and replaced with a modified buckle strap with matching tooth profile.The right rear wheel has a flat spot but is not broken. These are in stock on Thule's site. One foot in front is cracked but still functional. Also in stock with Thule. Assembly stand/retention system is in excellent condition and will currently accommodate a 15mm front thru-axle. No adapters are included but Thule has them in stock.Two Thule padded wheelbags are included both in very good condition. Case is currently selling new for $999.99.My asking price of $550 plus shipping is fair considering how durable this case is and its refurbished condition. Nice savings if you've been hesitant to travel with your expensive bicycle. All of my customers that travel with these have no issues with TSA damaging the bicycle attempting to repack. They remove the wheel bags look around and that's it. Easy repack and close.This particular case received minor damage falling out of an airplane onto the tarmac.
