Description: Here is a nice set, one dark red skeletal Spessartine. The quality is better than my evening photo's show. Then, likewise rather difficult to appropriately photograph, a flattened crystal of what is likely Grossular, I believe from Afghanistan. This is not a fragment, but rather a flattened crystal which might have been a fragment thousands of years ago, but then got re healed in the crystallization process, as evidenced by crystal faces on all sides of the crystal, instead of cleavage/breakage. This crystal has a nice orange gemminess in parts, as hopefully the last photo shows a little bit. The more dark Spessartine also has gemmy spots, but i couldn't get this properly on the photo. great as a set of garnets I think, but also as a display from the Himalayan region.
