This issue contains the eleventh in a series of text stories, which gets back to the new soon-to-be-Thundercats. This issue reprints the third part of the final Marvel U.S. STAR comic to adapt a TV episode, Doctor Dometone. One of William Overguard's offbeat-but-not-insane stories, iconic for it's glimpse into the depths of Third Earth's ocean, the good doctor and his team of underwater scientists, Scrape from the evil planet Blue Plunder (totally different from Plun-darr), his giant robot electric eel, the Hercules and Samson frog mecha, and the shark suits, all of which imply that it was some sort of dry run for Tiger Sharks...which really needs to come out on DVD. Dwayne Turner's art looks way better than in that Transformers issue 2 years after this, for whatever that's worth. Bought second hand. Previous owner wrote name on bottom of back cover. Also the usual photodegradation on most page edges, though my lighting set up might unfortunately make things look a bit yellower than they are. There are some places where it looks almost dirty though, including on the back along the spine. If you'd like more pics or info, please ask before bidding. I have a lot of Marvel UK Thundercats and Transformers comics to list, so if there's an issue you're looking for, just ask, and I might have a duplicate I'd be willing to part with!
