When Timpo initially released their "Action Pack" British infantry, they used a light blue color. When it came time to recast them, they used the same shade. I requested that they do a run for me in red color, which was the color of most British infantry of the Napoleonic Era. This proved so successful that they ran the British in red for us several times. As they didn't manage to use the same dye lot each time the set was run, you may find several slightly different shades of red in the figures of your set. We sell only 1st version Timpo recasts, which were made in England out of a traditional soft plastic. These are made out of the same plastic that Timpo used in their original run of plastics in the 1950's through the 1970s. All the Timpo we sell are long out of production, but we still have them in stock.
