Description: A 2 3/4 inch tall (to top of stopper) clear-glass square antique IODINE or POISON bottle. Bottle comes with the ORIGINAL GLASS STOPPER that was in it when it was dug up over 50 years ago. Note that the glass stopper has a SUN COLORED AMETHYST tint to it, and it has an extended dauber that goes down into the bottle as it is also a POISON BOTTLE, an iodine bottle and this way just one drop of the medicine could be dispensed this way. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE Blown Glass bottle with a cork top, dating back to early 1900. Bottle embossed: "HYNSON / WESTCOTT / DUNNING". Bottle's condition: This bottle is in good solid condition. It has stain and age wear, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Stopper too in good condition. PLEASE see photos for overall idea of bottle's appearance/condition. One of them had the remnant of a paper label left, enough to see that it held 'IODINE' and the glass had a red film on the interior of it. As mentioned, the ORIGINAL GLASS STOPPER was in it when it was dug up and it the STOPPER has a solid SUN COLORED AMETHYST color to it. The stopper is long, it has an extended dauber that dips deep into the bottle as this way just one drop of the iodine could be dispensed this way. Theoretically this was a POISON bottle, but you'd have to have a labeled example to verify this.
