Description: This is a Tom Taber, Ducks Unlimited, Special Edition, Magnum Size, Widgeon Drake Decorative Decoy. It has Tom Taber's name branded on the bottom and a Ducks Unlimited Medallion imbedded on the bottom. The Medallion is dated 1990-1991 and says Ducks Unlimited, Special Edition with their Duck Head Logo. The Decoy is much larger than life size, measuring 20 inches from beak to tail. It is 8.25 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide, and it weighs 4 pounds, 13 ounces. We have been fond of Tom Taber Decoys for many years, as have countless others who appreciate a beautiful decorative decoy. This particular Widgeon Decoy is quite uncommon and so difficult to find, anywhere. Typical of his work, this one is made from distressed wood. We were unable to find any sign of any damage but there is a portion of the tail area that appears to have a crack. Be sure to view the photos carefully as they show the problem being a knot that was present when the Decoy was finished. Pricing is based upon other Taber Wigeons but we will consider offers.
