tomahawk Vintage Native American hatchet bowie

Description: You are bidding on an old, vintage tomahawk. Obviously hand made with a “Hudson Bay heart” in the head. The hand forged iron head was traded to the natives for furs etc. It has nice patina. The whole tomahawk is as I found it. I believe it is from the New England area to the Ohio valley. The hard wood handle is unique for the leather wrap, brass tacks, and the way the wood is carved. I bought it when I lived in Toledo Ohio. I had it on my office wall but since I retired my wife won't allow me to hang it on our home wall...LOL.
