Description: This listing is for a Tommy Tuberville Signed Autographed Texas Tech Red Raiders Full Size Schutt Replica Helmet. Tommy placed his his strong, clear signature on the helmet in silver paint pen and he added the Red Raider motto of "Guns Up!" The helmet is in fabulous condition without any apparent scratches, scrapes or blemishes. The only issue with the helmet is a denting or cracking of the plastic cover inside the helmet. (Shown in picture #7.) This is not visible, unless one is looking at the inside of the helmet and it should not affect the display of the helmet in any manner. The helmet is intended for display only and the helmet is not for competitive use. Tommy Tuberville is a former college football head coach with the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Auburn Tigers, Mississippi Rebels and the Cincinnati Bearcats. Tommy's most successful period was between 1999 and 2008 when he coached Auburn and led the Tigers to 5 SEC Western Division championships and his 2004 Auburn team went undefeated (13-0) and won the Sugar Bowl. That year, Tommy was awarded the Walter Camp and Bear Bryant Awards as the Coach of the Year. Tommy coached Texas Tech from 2009-2012, replacing Mike Leach. He then coached at Cincinnati until 2016 before he entered politics. In 2020, Tommy defeated incumbent Sen. Doug Jones to become the junior Senator from the State of Alabama. A Republican, Tommy now serves as Senator in the U.S. Senate. This is a rare full size helmet signed by the Senator and it would make a great gift for any Red Raiders, Auburn or NCAA fan.
