Description: Topcon FD-21 flash device for use with a Topcon SL-D7 & D8Z slit lamps. This flash device converts the SL D7, D8Z, DC-3, and DV3 into a "flash through the slit" digital photo slit lamp. The FD- 21 enables the clinician to make superb photos of the posterior chamber and anterior segments of the eye. Excellent clarity, color balance and depth of field enhance the examination. The clinician can choose to connect a Nikon digital still camera or several CCD cameras. The unit powers on and the flash settings all illuminate from 0-200. This is as far as I can test it. There are connections on the back of the flash device for the slit lamp and for Topcon's ImageNet software. I have three of these units available.
