NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED. Author Biography Thorne Smith was the author of nine novels, including The Night Life of the Gods, Topper Takes a Trip, and The Stray Lamb. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1892 and died in 1934. This vintage books does jacket show some soil, and some small-closed tears, but remarkably still in very good condition. The interior of the book is clean and bright with no markings on the vertical page edge, and the top page edge show a few tiny ink drop marks not remarkable in any way, but I thought I’d mention it the book a square and the binding is tight. Before covering the dust jacket and a fresh clear Mylar protective covering, I took a picture of the interior of the dust jack. It is the last picture.
