Every vinyl record I sell has been 100% played, enjoyed and tested by me personally all through on both sides on 2 different turntables both settings as follows Counterweight 1.5g to 2g / Anti-Skate between 1.5 to 3 HOWEVER I can't say or guarantee how it will play on yours. I NEVER use the term NM or M because after years being a dealer/collector of records in the 80s & 90s I learned that even a brand new vinyl record is subjected to some possible surface noise and if anything else, just the characteristics of vinyl compound in itself and the physics/elements of it alone can have various impact. I price my listings very fair considering the actual album and conditions on every level .....Thank You For Looking TRACY NELSONDEEP ARE THE ROOTS 1965 Prestige Records # PRT 7726 Vinyl LP This I believe is old 1960's stock that originally had no bar-code but later a retailer or supplier added a bar-code sticker on the back as seen in photo 4. As seen on the record label it does not say STEREO.However my boss "wife" and I think it sounds STEREO. VINYL VISUALLY Very light surface marks/scuffs here and there however still pretty nice with a very nice gloss. Due to light glares and close ups some tiny elements of dust or such will be visible. AUDIBLY Has light typical surface noise throughout and as usual more noticeable in the beginning with the groove, between tracks and during soft passages. Overall plays nice and very enjoyable on my 2 turntables. I would say the surface noise is a bit more noticeable the startof side 2 but still enjoyable listening judging with my turntables. Conservatively grading I would say Strong VG to VG+ HOWEVER As you probably know grading vinyl records remains very subjective from one listener to another also depending on turntable, arm adjustments, cartridge and stylus/needle. This album "might" not for any high end audiophile collectors who should stay with near mint or new. However it is a very nice album for a casual listener who simply enjoys playing records for their own personal pleasure "like myself" Bottom Line, Not Near Mint But Overall A Very Nice Clean Copy ☺ COVER As seen in photos the cover has shelf wear and dented corners. Still overall pretty nice cover with most original shrink wrap still on it Includes plan generic inner sleeve.
