This means the bolt head cannot be gripped without the key - an excellent security feature! The bolts are made from heat treated carbon alloy steel and are drill and punch resistant. They are manufactured to ISO9001 & QS9000 standards. Unique 3-Pin Design The 3-pin pattern of each set is different. This is a good security feature that you won't find on cheaper locks! Each lock set is supplied with a unique key code, found on the key card inside the box. This should be kept in a safe place and if the key were ever lost a replacement can be purchased. Correct 'Radius' seat for Audi These bolts have a 'radius' (round shaped) seat to fit original Audi alloy wheels perfectly. If you have after-market (non original) wheels please check that they require radius seat bolts. Some after-market wheels require bolts with a 'tapered' (cone shaped) seat. Stainless steel covers A stainless steel cap fits on to each locking bolt for an attractive finish. If your particular alloy wheels have deep bolt holes the puller tool (included) can be used to reach inside and pull the cap off.
