Description: T/Sgt VERNON McGARITY WWII Medal of Honor MOH CMH Battle of the Bulge Signed 3X5 100% genuine signature of WWII Medal of Honor and Purple Heart recipient T/Sgt. Vernon McGarity, USA (1921-2013). McGarity served with the 3/393rd Infantry, 99th Infantry Division during WWII. He was awarded the MOH for his actions on 16 DEC 1944 during combat near Krinkelt, Belgium. He was taken prisoner during the Battle of the Bulge and spent the remainder of the war as a POW. McGarity was the 99th Infantry Division's only Medal of Honor recipient. HIs other decorations include the POW Medal. I've been collecting military signatures for well over 50 years. This is a nicely inscribed signed 3x5 card out of my personal accumulations. Piece is in good condition with normal signs of age, toning, and gentle fading to the ink. Ask questions before bidding.
