Two bookmark postcards of Madison Square Garden, etc., sent in 1910 to England

Description: Here we have a highly unusual pair of novelty bookmark postcards sent in 1910 to England. They picture Madison Square Garden and the City Investment Building in New York City. They have some edge and corner wear and creasing from international postal handling. The matching cards were mailed on June 10, 1910, to a Miss R. Pearce, Fairview Cottage, Loates Lane (?) Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England. The message from Leslie is about collecting postcards and family matters. He praises the city. The 2-cent Washington stamps are tied by New York Sta. K duplex postmarks. The cards were published by HH Co. and were printed in Germany. They are numbered 29 and 806. Interesting and elusive used bookmark and New York cards with sports and architectural interest. The postage on this lot is higher than I would like, which is down to Royal Mail rates and other charges beyond my control such as eBay and PayPal commissions. I use good British stamps to send all my lots and these should result in collectable stamps cancelled by hand in my village post office for the buyer.
