Probably the most common group head gasket in use today- in addition to Faema - this gasket is used in E61 grouphead models of Futurmat, Gaggia, La Pavoni, Vibiemme (VBM), Wega, Brasilia, isomav and others. These have no company logo on them. NOTE 1: The ECM Giotto and Quickmill state that they have an E-61 group head, but these gaskets " •may• a bit too small for them on the inside diameter. NOTE 2: THESE GASKETS ARE 73MM X 57MM X 8MM. IT WOULD BE BEST TO CHECK IF THIS IS THE SIZE SPECIFIED FOR YOUR MACHINE. Some manufacturers use an 8.5mm thick gasket. In those cases this gasket will cause your Portafilter handle to lock in past the 6 o'clock position. These Filter Holder Gaskets - 73mm x 57mm x 8mm. This is the normal gasket thickness which is installed on new machines. NOTE: If your portafilters are worn and they engage too far to the right, you may want to consider purchasing a thicker 8.5 or 9mm gasket. This gasket is the normal version 8mm thick. Filter holder gaskets normally last for 6 - 12 months, depending on usage. It is always best to keep a spare on hand. Replace when rubber hardens, or if water leaks from this location.
