When a reporter asked Allen what he’d be during the seven-minute launch to orbit, Allen quipped that he’d be in charge of religious activities. The hardback book measures 10” by 10” and is 223 pages in length. It features 213 full-color photographs taken by the astronauts. There are pictures of life on board the spacecraft, glorious views of earth as seen from space and others. The book and dust cover are in excellent condition and the book is long out of print. Allen has signed the title page and added “Reach for the Stars!” As an added bonus, Story Musgrave, a six-time shuttle astronaut, has also signed.
