Located in the ancient city of the same name, the factory has been producing exquisite and highly coveted luxury china since 1826. Design: The saucers are in the beautiful pattern called Queen Victoria, one of the company's most famous and popular designs. It has been produced in various forms since it was presented to Queen Victoria at the London World Exhibition of 1851. It is still in production. Elegant, finely detailed and utterly gorgeous, with superbly hand painted and vividly colored flowers, leaves and butterflies, the green trimmed saucers would make a powerful statement of good taste on any table. These saucers are hand painted and each design is different. They are intended for use with a flat cup. Marks: The modern blue Herend back stamp and the shape number 1726 are on the back along with the designation VBO, an abbreviation of the pattern name in French: Victoria avec Bord en Or (Victoria with gold border). Size: The saucers are 5 3/8 inches wide and 1 inch tall. The cup slots are 1 7/8 inches wide. The set weighs 8 ounces. Condition: Both saucers are in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, repairs or wear.
