The Richter is Lot 115 and is entitled "Untitled (467-2). An oil on canvas, it measurs 25 5/8 by 31 1/2 inches. Executed in 1981, it has a modest estimate of $180,000 to $220,000 and is particularly vibrant and colorful with a fine sense of motion and depth. Larry Rivers, who died this year, is represented by Lot 128, "French Money," a 34-by-59 1/2-inch oil on canvas, Executed in 1965, it has a modest estimate of $120,000 to $180,000 and is a an excellent example of the artist's fine compositional skills and painterliness.
