Description: Description: For auction are two rare NEW vintage cast aluminum Guardian Service serving platters. These items were part of a set that was a wedding gift to my parents in 1936, were never used, and have been stored for over 85 years. As can be seen from the pictures, each platter is shown as found and have not been cleaned. There are some light oxidation spots on each item. The round platter measures 15 ½” in diameter and 18” handle to handle. The oval platter measures 13” x 10” x 1¾” and 15” handle to handle.
