Description: This is two very nice Colditz porcelain fish plates made by the CP Company in Colditz, Germany. A little background,White Colditz clay was used already prior to 1730 as one of Boettger porcelain (Meissen) ingredients. The original company started in 1804 and transformed in 1969 and went out of business in 1998. These plates are in very good condition. They don't appear to have been used. The edging is trimmed in gold. Measures approx. 6-1/2" Diameter.
