Description: This top hat has a round head opening of 1" and is 1" tall. The brim measures 2" by 1 3/4". The hat is made of two different shades of green sparkle paper and has a white sparkle band. The hat fits Mego 8" dolls but will also work for the smaller dolls in the Barbie family like Todd (as shown), Chelsea, Tommy and Kelly. It is the right size for Ryan but his weird hairstyle doesn't let the hat sit properly on his head. It will also fit dolls with small heads like Dawn and Happy Meals Barbie (as shown). I no longer add Velcro inside the hats to help them cling to the doll's hair because some customers complained that it messed up the hair but a piece of sticky backed Velcro could be easily added inside the hat for that purpose. There is no place to hide my company label, Thumbelina Gowns, but since there are limited ways to make and decorate a hat, I will repeat various hats that prove popular. Nevertheless, the hat has been photographed and listed in my design catalog so I can try to keep them limited. Handmade detailing increases the cost/value of the design.
